More than 4,329 kilometers long, Chile, located in the very south of
the American continent, offers some of the most varied and extreme climatic
and geographic conditions on the planet:
In the North is the most arid desert in the
world; in the Center there are Mediterranean
landscapes; in the South, forests and lakes;
in the Patagonia and
Tierra del Fuego, fiords, glacier fields and stormy pampas; and
in the Antarctic, eternal whiteness.
In the Pacific, there's
Easter Island with its many mysteries and
Juan Fernandez, with a unique ecosystem and species of flora and
fauna existing nowhere else in the world.
