in the heart of the Andes mountain range and only 70 miles from
Santiago lies Valle Nevado, a mountain village hugely popular
with skiers from all over the world. This is a magical place and

Count with 9000 hectares of ski able area and 37 kilometers of
ski trails. It has in addition 19 tubes for the snow manufacturing
that covers around 6 km of ski trails, guaranteeing the practice
of skiing.

international instructors who are experts in alpine skiing,
carving and snowboarding as well as being professional mountain

A unique experience that begins at our heliport where a Bell
407 awaits totake you to virgin snow in remote locations for
thrilling skiing or snowboarding experiences.

Gliding / Paragliding
Valle Nevado contracts the service
of highly experienced professional paragliding and hang gliding
pilots, with whom you can schedule a tandem flight. You'll take
off from the Mirador peak, pass over Valle Nevado and then land
on the Prado ski run.
High
Technology
During the 2001 season a new chair lift began to work,
Andes Express. The first un-detachable quadruple high speed chair
lift in Chile and one of most modern of the world. It will allow
for a ride time of less than half the time of a normal chair lift.
It is 1,676 meters in length and 420 meters of vertical rise.
 Snowboard
Valle Nevado has been named as the only seat in Latin
America for the World Snowboard Championship by the International
Ski Federation This is thanks to the fact that we have the
best in Half Pipe, Border Cross and Big Air. Here the most daring
snowboarders from around the globe come to practice jumps, tricks
and freestyle.
