Details
The coati is a carniverous mammal that is particularly popular as humans can easily observe. In general you will find them in the company of others of their species, to facilitate hunting and to help defend themselves. When the male reaches adult age he will leave the group, only returning to mate. They have large snouts, giving them a heightened sense of smell. Its main diet consists of smaller animals, fruit, and eggs.
