To reach this little
park of 6,474 hectares (14,242 acres), you need a four-wheel drive.
It is home to native forests of araucaria, tepa and laurel. Another
interesting attraction is the magnificent 49 m (161 ft) waterfall
of the Malleco river. Although inside the park there are thermal
waters, they are not used. The Tolhuaca Hot Springs are situated
outside the protected area and are well maintained.

Araucanía region, 154 km (96 mi) northeast of Temuco.
Curacautín is 34 km (21 MI) to the south.

How to get there
1)
Santiago-Temuco: by air. Leave Temuco towards the north
until Lautaro, from this city continue to Curacautín
and from here to the park. The road is paved up to Curacautín.
2) Santiago-Victoria: by land. From Victoria take the
road to Curacautín until the park.

Humid and warm, there are few dry periods,
