of the Lakes, amidst dense forests that are nourished by the area's
numerous water basins and rivers.
Aguas Calientes Hot Springs boasts a
secluded location amidst an unforgettable landscape of mountains,
lakes, rivers, and forests abundant in native species of flora and
fauna. This place is paradise for those who just want to relax and
forget about the stress brought on by daily city life while enjoying
nature and fresh air.
Aguas Calientes is located 50 miles (80 km.) east of the city of
Osorno and 19 miles (30 km.) from Entre Lagos, a picturesque and
touristy town next to Puyehue Lake.
These super hot, hyperthermic waters rise from the ground with
temperatures ranging from 135°F to 164°F (57ºC to 75ºC).

of symptoms brought on by rheumatism, arthritis, neuralgia, sciatica,
gynecological illnesses, respiratory illnesses, skin conditions
and illnesses affecting the nervous system. This type of water should
not be used by people with rheumatoid fever, pregnant women or anyone
with tuberculosis.
Visitors are invited to enjoy a hot, relaxing bath in the thermal
center's pool, or if you prefer, in one of the area's natural springs.
There are many activities in and around the area such as sport
fishing, hiking, observing nature and taking photos, etc. There
are also areas where families can sit down to a picnic meal surrounded
by nature.
If you like to ski you should visit Antillanca, a ski center located
on the hillside of the Casablanca Volcano. If you prefer the water,
the town of Entre Lagos might suit you better. Here you can go swimming
and participate in other water sports in Puyehue Lake.
