In the Morning: Viu Manet and Bisquertt Wineries
In the morning we´ll leave from the hotel, and go south towards the city of San Fernando, starting the Colchagua Wine Valley Route. From San Fernando, we go towards the city of Santa Cruz to visit the first vineyard of our tour: Viu Manet Vinayard. Once we are in the Vineyard, we will enter the plant after an enjoyable ride through the vineyard in an old carriage pulled by two Percheron horses. After this we will continue on to the Bisquertt Vineyard. This beautiful vineyard shows us the colonial architecture from 200 years ago. We can visit the carriage house where antiques are displayed, used by the family in years past.
In the Afternoon: Colchagua Museum
After the visit at Bisquertt Vineyard, we will return to Santa Cruz to enjoy a delicious lunch, typical of the area, in the restaurant of the famous Santa Cruz hotel. We´ll have the afternoon to walk through the Colchagua Museum where we can see a collection of pieces demonstrating the Latin American culture, especially that of the one time inhabitants of the Colchagua Valley region.

Viu Manet Vineyard
The tour begins at the Visitor´s Reception area "La Llaveria", where the visitors are received by a bilingual guide who will give a tour in an antique carriage pulled by horses. A wide view of the vineyards is given so participants can see the process of production and the work put into the development at the specific season. The next step is the winery where, with a cup in hand, participants can taste wines directly from the vats while learning about the process and production of fine wines. The tour of "La Llaveria" continues on to constructions from the beginning of the 20th century with an accurate remodeling of the Chilean homestead from this time. The visitor is offered a pleasant stop among gardens of the "Cava Don Miguel", and a display of the harvesting machines used in the past at this vineyard. The visit ends at the wine store where in addition to a tasting of the Viu Manet Reserve wines, wines and accessories may be purchased.
