We are already returning home, with an obviously positive balance. The trip was really beautiful, it fulfilled beyond my expectations. I am thankful to you, once again, thanks for helping us to fulfill our vacations, I wanted  until the last minute, to know you in person and to thank the person who helped us personally, but it was not possible, I hope that there will be another opportunity. The truth is that we did not have time for anything, everything was organized and timed. According to us, the hour to approach the Navimag, was to 16:00, but we arrived like a 13:30 - (from the time we disembarked and were able to take something that took us downtown) and luckyly we decided to go to drop off the suitcases to Navimag, for then give a trip around the city and to eat something for lunch, but oh! surprise, we should have been boarding by 14:00, meaning that we almost lost the trip. That was another mistake, it is necessary to find the means of transporting the tourists to the places where they go, like for example,  in Puerto Natales, at the boat was somebody who took us to the Hotel, although it was not more the 200 mts. Away, but the that was good. The Hotels are very good, being Explora the best and the hotel Costa Australis better than the Cabo de Hornos- in the this last one the attention was a little more relaxed that in the previous one, the service was kina of tired or in a bad mood, of course that is was not bad at all, but making a comparison, we liked the Costa Australis more. Regarding the terrestrial excursions, we saw and we compared some data and we remained with taxi some drivers, super good people, likeable, experts about many places and CHEAPER, so in Puerto Natales and Punta Arenas we always rid with them. They  were always to our disposition, reason why we got to know much more than if we had gone in tour. In Punta Arenas we crossed the Strait of Magallanes and arrived at Porvenir, that was not contemplated in our plans, but we had a very good time. Another thing that we found excessively expensive, was the boat, the food is bad and the cleanliness also. But we were happy, we had a lot of rain  but we spend it in the control room, when going though the De Penas Gulf I got dizzy, the trip lasted 12 hrs., but everything was taken with the idea that we were going to have a good time. As you see Hector, the most positive thing of the trip was the sun that accompanied us at every moment, excepting the trips through  the channels. Then on, if it rained, was at night, in Torres del Paine, we were able to see the towers in all its splendor, without a cloud, wonderful and every day there, in Natales and Punta Arenas, the sun was our glad companion. I referred your name to several relatives who have asked us how we made the contact with you, so if people contact you, you will know how the contact was made. Sharpen a little the details I referred to, the commentaries are not done with bad intention, on the contrary, I am the best ambassador of my country and the country in which I formed my family, reason why I hope that every day each detail is better. Jun 01, 2007 My intention was to send you an email soon after returning to New York but my Internet connection had been suspended until today. It meant to tell you how much I liked my trip through South America. It has been a very long but also very exciting trip and with a very interesting itinerary. I know that this would not had been possible without your help. Thanks for your patience with us and you untiring efforts to obtain for us the cruise by the Galápagos Islands. We ate very well in Explorer II and, thanks for the long, long walks on the volcanic earth, I returned home without gaining to much weight!  The only problem that we had in the trip was been the fact that Juan could not tolerate the elevation in Peru and Ecuador. He could not sleep at night. In Cuzco and Quito was the worse-- by this we decided to be brief in our stay in Quito. Instead of having left May 31st, we decided to return to NY the 29th. Since our return Juan  has spent more than 48 hours sleeping, which improved its humor remarkably. Again I want to express my gratefulness by everything that you did to assure that our trip was as most pleasant as possible and I wish you all the best. We visited Viña del Mar, Valparaiso, Reñaca, ConCon, Santiago and two famous vineyards. We could not have had a better time. I just want to let you know every thing went well. We were picked up from Valpariaso on time. Our guide Jose was wonderful and he speaks very good English. We had a good tour of Valparaiso and Viña Del Mar. Jose took us to a delicious sea food lunch on the ocean front in Puerto Varas. We invited both the driver and Jose for lunch and we all had a great time. The hotel in Santiago was very comfortable. All went well with the exception that when we asked the hotel to confirm our pick up time to the airport, there were no answer to all the phone lines you provided on our voucher. So we thought there will be no pick up and ask the hotel to call a taxi for us. Then the driver showed up at 4 pm and told us that all phone number were changed. Well, a little excitement for the last leg of our long journey. Perhaps next time you will indicate the pick up time from the hotel(just a feed back). However the bus was late arriving and then had a puncture and finally left 1 and half hours late. The trip was fantastic - I dont know whether you chose the seats on the right - hand side of the bus but this was the best side - if you did thanks. Now that the Andean package is finished I would like to express the thanks of us all for the excellent arrangements made on our behalf. Everything really worked well. Jan 18, 2007 Dear Hector, Thank you so much for EVERYTHING you did, from beginning to end, to make our recent holiday in Chile and Argentina such a wonderful experience. We had a marvelous time, in all the locations. The Skorpius II cruise was really spectacular and very enjoyable. The hotels we stayed in were all excellent – with the possible exception of the Natura in Puella – just the restaurant service. The only problem we had was during the cruce de los lagos when, as you know, one of our suitcases was badly damaged. My wife Veronica contacted you about this when we were in Bariloche, and we are grateful for your intervention. When we first enquired at the company office in Bariloche we were told that it was “not their problem”, but that as a ‘favor’ they would try to do something for us although this repair would not be ready before we planned to leave. Later in the day, we were contacted and asked to give a time when we could go to a shop, accompanied by the company man (who had really been quite rude to us earlier in the day) to buy a NEW suitcase!! We did this, and we got a good quality suitcase, which really did compensate for the morning we lost. Thank you again for all your help at every stage of planning, organizing and taking our holiday of a lifetime. We are both very grateful. Nov 27, 2006 Taking care of your request I explain to you the result of the services. Transfer: Punctual. When realized we were a family, they got a van to fit us all.. Which was welcome by all (the company saved taxis, and we traveled together roundtrip. It is used that the company sends a fax confirming the returning transfer. I waited for that fax until the 13 hrs of Saturday. The fax did not arrive, so by indications the of the Hotel receptionist I called Mrs. Magda to make sure the transfer was coming. Perhaps it is worth the trouble to indicate Mrs. Magda that confirmation should get to the passengers 48hrs in advance, so that the passenger feels calm with that service (in Mexico I almost  lose the return airplane because I trusted a transfer that never arrived; obviously I gained experience and had a bad time). Hotel: Excellent location. Two short blocks from the beach, they provide parasol, resting places and beach towel One block from the most chic street of all Rio (HStern, MontBlanc, Luis Buiton, Cartier, etc....) Three short blocks from Laguna de Freitas and of the park Gardens of Alha. Like alternative strolls to the beach.  2 supermarkets in front of it. Stores, Restaurants, toy stores, coffee shop and pubs, many in the surroundings of two to three blocks, and of all prices. Hotel attention: warm and opportune. Cleanness: Good. Breakfast: Buffet type, excellent, from 6 A.M.. As we left at 6 A.M. they allowed ourselves to advance the service, although more limited, at 5:30 A.M. (a service that not always is made, could have been because we were a big group with two babies) Associated Restaurant with Buffet service at lunch time and food from a menu letter and a calm pub at night. Rooms with TV cable and Frigo-Bar and air conditioned: approximated size 3.5m x 4 ms which is more than the standard. A King bed fits perfectly plus a cradle. It has remodeled floors (we were not in these last ones. They have problem only with old air conditioned system that is very loud in relation to new existing ones). Windows with double system glass (keeps the outside noises of the street out). Public transportation: Buses to Copacabana, downtown, Pan de Azucar, Corcovado, etc, right outside of the hotel (bus stop about 30 to 50 ms). Buses of return to indicated points and in the direction of Leblon, Bar of Tijuca, etc, a block from the hotel. Area Security: Very safe. What we wanted was completely fulfilled. That being our perception, it can be that more demanding passengers than ourselves  do not feel the same way. We would return to the same Hotel because of the diverse “ Extra" that it has. We returned at Easter from our round-the-world trip. You had made the arrangements for us to travel through Chile and on the Magallanes ferry (It was actually the Puerto Eden, because of an accident to the Magallanes). We would like to thank you. The arrangements worked very well. Our hotels were good and the transfers from the hotel to the ferry were very easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Chile. Hi Mauricio, We are back in the U.S. and our tour of Torres del Paine was excellent. Thank you for providing very high quality of service. There were always people at airport/bus station with our nameplate, very punctual and courteous. I had worried for no reason about what if nobody shows up. The driver in Punta Arenas did very good job of directing us to a restaurant and a museum while we had to wait for the bus. The hotel, Florence Dixie in Puerto Natales, was good and the people were extremely helpful. The excursion to the Torres del Paine was well arranged. Again everyone was on time and the bus was comfortable. The excursion to the glaciers was good too. One suggestion, it will be nicer if a guide gives information a few times. The information was written in a booklet but if a person speaks in person, that will add more fun and value. All in all, your tour and service exceeded my expectations and my thanks to all of you and your guides, drivers, and innkeepers. They did an excellent job.

Dear Aníbal, We are back at home here in Canada, a very cold land (we've experienced very low temperatures but little snow) but very inviting at the same time. We had an excellent trip in San Pedro de Atacama. Easter Island is marvelous, magical, and doesn't even seem like Chilean territory! I also found Easter Island to be very clean, despite Chile's standards. Geez! Chile is really quite dirty…I imagined that the desert would be so much cleaner but on the contrary, and so many stray dogs! Thank you very much for helping us discover Chile, a country about which I knew very little. My wife was very pleased with the service in both places. Remember that if you venture out to these cold parts one day (we also have very hot summers), don't forget to contact us. Thank you very much and Chao!

Hi Aníbal, I wish you a very happy new year. We are back to France. We came back last week end. Sorry we did not come to say hi to you. In fact we did not come to Santiago. When we came back from Punta Arenas, we had only one more day before flying back to France and we went directly to Valparaiso to spend our last day..... El Glacier Hostal was marvelous...the night we spent there we didn't move from the bar as we watched the sunset over the lake and we admired the icebergs, the glacier and the Torres del Paine. We had so much fun!! We enjoyed all types of weather; snow in Bariloche and Ushuaia, cold and hot weather, wind, rain, and sun!  We are attaching a photo so you can see our happy faces!! We have returned from an incredible trip through South America and we would first like to congradulate you for having such an amazing country in Chile, with such educated and friendly people. Our experience in Chile has been amazing and all your help on the topic of our cruise has been great. The Mare Australis ship is beautiful and organized the cruise perfectly; the crew was very professional in general and we would recommend the trip. The only thing worth mentioning, is that all the clothes for the water and the rubber boots were provided on board and it is not necessary to bring them so far, as we did. I appreciate all of your help in getting this part of my journey worked out for me. I had recently booked one leg online from Santiago to Lima and used the direct booking from the Lan Chile website and I was not impressed. Terrible communication, unprofessional, etc. Your service made me believe in booking on-line again and was wonderful and hassle free. Thanks again. PS. ....it was FANTASTIC. Apologies for the delay in responding but it has taken me a while to get back into the swing of things back home. But the holiday was EXCELLENT - definitely the BEST THING I have ever done - the area is spectacular and the hospitality and service I received on the holiday was faultless. The family made me feel so welcome it really was a joyous experience for me & one which I definitley would like to repeat & am encouraging my friends & colleagues to experience. Anibal: Thank you for all your help in preparation for our visit to Explora en Patagonia. Everything worked really well and we had a wonderful time. We had excellent weather for our arrival and 2 days after. On our third full day, it was cloudy but we had only very light rain for a short time. Anibal, Hola from Punta Arenas, everything worked out fine, sorry we had to come by the office but we were getting nervous just waiting at the iternet cafe. Marta was very helpful although there is a great hotel in Punta Arenas called Callasto that is a bit better than the one we stayed in last night - at least for quasi budget travellers. Anyway, sorry about the commotion and I really appreciate the work you and the folks at gotolatin.com did for my vacation. Aníbal, thanks for your reply a little while ago about the skiing. Gotolatin also put me onto Condor Tours to organise the Peruvian part of my journey and I must say that their service has been fantastic! I did a little shopping around as I was hesitant that it was the first place I had been in contact with and no where else. But they have proven beyond a doubt that they surpass any of the other tour companies in Peru. Thanks again. Sorry to bother you on this again, but I have finalised my flight arrangements to Santiago in conjunction with my Peruvian tour. Hi Anibal I wanted to say thanks for organising the boat trip for me, I had an absolutely amazing time & am looking forward to doing the trip again in March next year when I return to Chile. A friend of mine is looking to travel to New Zealand from Santiago, Chile in December for 2 months and I was wondering if you could keep a look out & see if there are any specials on the airfares, as for some reason it is US$1700 Chile to NZ & return, whereas from NZ to Chile & return it is only US$1000.
